Alba Highland Taxidermy preserves the character of Scotland's red deer, sika and roe — each mount worked by hand, true to the animal and the ground it walked.
The Studio
Based in the Scottish Highlands, Alba Highland Taxidermy works closely with stalkers, estates and collectors to turn a single animal into a lasting piece — never mass-produced, never rushed.
From cape and skull to final mount, every stage is done in-house: skinning, tanning, sculpting and finishing, so the character of the animal — its bearing, its antlers, its condition on the day it was taken — comes through in the final piece.
Best Sellers
A handful of finished pieces available now — plus a couple that have already found a home.
Why Alba Highland
What separates a mount worth keeping from one that just sits on a wall.
Animals sourced from Scottish estates and stalks, mounted by someone who understands the ground they came from — not a generic species template.
Tanning, sculpting and finishing all handled in-house, with the same attention given to a first-time stalker's stag as to a gold medal head.
Head mounts, full body work and shoulder mounts, each discussed and agreed with you before a single cut is made.
